Echoes from PIMENTO community – ‘Kefir4All’ citizen science experience Paul Cotter

Kefir is not only a fascinating fermented product of health interest, but also becomes the subject of “citizen science project designed to provide the general public with an opportunity to expand their awareness, knowledge, and practical skills relating to microbiology, introduced through the medium of producing fermented food, i.e., milk kefir or water kefir”!

The project is published in the ‘Journal of Microbiology & Biology Education’ edited by the American Society for Microbiology.
